NECK ULTRASOUND

The neck and small glands ultrasound evaluates the small parts of the neck including the thyroid and parathyroid glands, lymph nodes, and vessels in the area including the carotid artery and jugular vein. Can be used to evaluate masses in the neck area and evaluate causes for hypercalcemia and elevated serum PTH.
